RULES OF THE GAME “PREDICTION MARKET”
PREAMBLE
These Rules (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”) regulate the procedures for User actions in the course of interacting with the interface of the Game “Prediction Market” (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”). In all matters not governed by these Rules, the User undertakes to be guided by the provisions of the User Agreement of Bitpapa.com.
1. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
1.1. The following terms are used in these Rules with the meanings set forth below:
- 1.1.1. In-game currency – BPCX token.
- 1.1.2. Event – a prediction with an opportunity for Users to vote on the outcome, in which all Users may participate.
- 1.1.3. Voting – the User’s selection of the anticipated outcome of an Event.
2. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- 2.1. The User is required to thoroughly familiarize themselves with these Rules prior to commencing use of the Game. Any interaction with the Game interface shall constitute the User’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Rules.
- 2.2. These Rules may be updated or amended at any time at the sole discretion of Bitpapa.com. The current version of the Rules is published on the Website; such updates or amendments do not require separate notice to Users. The updated or amended Rules come into effect upon publication on the Website. Continued use of the Website after any amendments and/or updates or additions to these Rules constitutes the User’s acceptance and agreement to such amendments and/or updates or additions.
- 2.3. The Game utilizes smart contracts for the automatic management and execution of transactions. These smart contracts ensure that all voting and event resolutions are transparent and immutable. When you vote, the smart contract records the transaction on the blockchain, ensuring security and protection against interference.
3. IN-GAME CURRENCY
- 3.1. The in-game currency is not a means of payment. The status of the in-game currency and the procedure for its acquisition are regulated in the User Agreement of Bitpapa.com
4. EVENT CREATION
- 4.1. To create an event, proceed to the following link: https://bitpapa.com/ru/polls/account/events/create
- 4.2. Principal information regarding the event.
- 4.2.1. Event title. The Game Interface shall prompt the User to enter the event title. The title must accurately reflect the nature of the event.
- 4.2.2. Event description. The Game Interface shall prompt the User to enter the event title. The description must provide detailed information about the event as well as the relevant question.
- 4.2.3. Conditions. The Game Interface shall prompt the User to enter the conditions (options for selection (voting)), for example, “yes / no.”
- 4.2.4. Categories. The Game Interface will prompt the User to select a category for the event. The most relevant category must be selected.
- 4.2.5. Image. The Game Interface will prompt the User to upload an image for the event. The most relevant image must be selected. The User bears full responsibility for ensuring compliance with copyright and any other rights held by an unlimited range of persons when using the selected image. All liability on the part of Bitpapa.com is hereby fully excluded.
- 4.3. Bet Details.
- 4.3.1. The Game Interface will prompt the User to specify the minimum and maximum number of BPCX tokens that other Users may employ during the Game to vote for a particular event outcome.
- 4.3.2. The Game Interface will prompt the User to specify the date and time for the closure of bets on a particular event outcome, as well as the date and time for the determination of the event result.
- 4.3.3. The Game Interface will prompt the User to provide a link by which the event outcome can be unambiguously determined at the specified time.
- 4.4. Payment.
- 4.4.1. The Game Interface shall prompt the User to remit payment for the creation of an event using in-game currency.
- 4.5. Result.
- 4.5.1. Upon completion of payment for event creation, the event shall be published and Users may participate in voting, while the event creator shall be able to view it in the 'My Events' section.
- 4.6. The cost of event creation, denominated in in-game currency, as well as the Platform fee for event creation and the percentage allocated to the event creator, shall be determined by Bitpapa.com, published in the relevant section of the Game Interface, and made known to the User prior to the creation of the event and payment for its creation. The specified cost, commission, and percentage may be changed at any time at the sole discretion of Bitpapa.com without prior notice to Users.
5. Voting
- 5.1. A User wishing to participate in voting must select an event from those offered by the Game interface.
- 5.2. After selecting the desired event, the User, independently and at their own discretion and conviction, shall select the outcome of the event from the options offered by the Game interface.
- 5.3. After selecting the outcome of the event in accordance with clause 5.2, the User shall determine the amount of in-game currency they consider appropriate to spend on voting (within the limits specified in clause 4.3.1 of these Rules). At the same time, the Game Interface displays to the User the amount of in-game currency the User may win if the outcome of the event corresponds to their selection.
- 5.4. After reviewing the details and confirming that the potential voting result upon resolution of the event according to their choice is satisfactory, the User may confirm their selection by clicking “Place Bet.” Subsequently, the event will appear in the Game Interface under the “My Predictions” section.
6. EVENT OUTCOME
- 6.1. Upon the completion of the event, if Users have voted for any of the outcome options, the following shall occur:
- 6.1.1. Users who voted for an outcome corresponding to the actual result of the event shall receive their winnings in in-game currency, in accordance with these Rules.
- 6.1.2. Users who voted for an outcome not corresponding to the actual result of the event shall forfeit the in-game currency expended on voting for that event.
- 6.1.3. The event creator shall receive a percentage in accordance with Section 4.6 of these Rules.
